Verlyn and Ruth
Verlyn and Ruth started this business 7 years ago in 2017. Since then, it had grown and expanded by adding more employees and a permanent location. 720 Wilborn Ave. South Boston, VA 24592.
Verlyn is a licensed auctioneer. He is a member of VAA and NAA. He's the "get things done" type of guy. There is never a dull moment with him around.
Ruth is the lady that keeps everything going smoothly. If you come into the office, you can normally find her doing something on the computer. She is a very hard worker and takes care of customers who need help!

Rhoda is instrumental in bundling your items to achieve the most desirable arrangement for maximum sale price for the consignor.
Chief Pick-up Leader
Kevin serves as leader when our staff goes to pick up bulk items for consignment. He is Verlyn and Ruth's son-in-law. He and his wife, Jaimee, have a precious little girl and are patiently awaiting for another addition to their family later this year.
Pick-up Team Member and Minor Repairs Executor
Gerald King is a key member of our team. He makes minor repairs to make things marketable in our auctions. He also is instrumental in helping with the pick up of items.
Office Assistant
Tabi works part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. She plans to graduate in 2025. She helps to capture images and edit them for display on the on-line auctions. Tabi also helps with the web site management.
Advertising
Jaimee and Mindy, sisters, are daughters of Verlyn and Ruth. They each are instrumental in advertising. Jaimee advertises Emswiler Auctions through email and postings on the Auction Zip site. Mindy compiles picture collages for Facebook advertising.
